I don't know about you but I've been "trying" to mediate for years but have struggled to make it a habit. Meditation was something I thought I needed formal training for because my mind would always wonder and then I started judging myself for it.
If this rings a bell to you, I wanted to share a new resource I stumbled across thanks to targeted Facebook marketing. It's a free App that helps guide you through 3, 5 or 10 minute meditations. I'm in day 2 of my routine (which honestly is an amazing achievement for me). I've started off the past 2 days with a 5 minute meditation and I'm already noticing a positive impact.
The App is called Headspace and even better, it's Free! As of 10-12-18, the icon is a white square with an orange circle. Real easy to identify: https://www.headspace.com/. And no, they're not paying me to promote this. I really love it's simplicity and honesty.

I use an app named Insight timer, very similar to Headspace
