If you’re looking for an alternate to deodorant that actually works, check out crystal rock deodorant.

I’ve struggled for years with deodorants that weren’t strong enough. And when I tried to switch to aluminum free like native, I smelled like a dirty hippie by lunch.

Within 2 weeks of using rock deodorant, the razor rash I always had was gone.  I'm so happy I switched - I'll never go back.

Speaking of health care products. did you know that despite all of the regulations in the US, the personal care industry is not heavily regulated?  Companies are able to decide what ingredients they want to include and what the safety standards are.

Because long term studies aren't conducted on personal care products, its unclear what some of the long term effects are from using these products habitually.  Daily long term exposures to certain chemicals, including phthalates, is linked to a range of concerns from cancer to reproductive disorders.

Once I learned this, I freaked out and started to analyze all the products I use.  A friend of mine was selling for BeautyCounter, a company that produces personal care products that go above and beyond what is legally required in the US.  In fact, they have a Never List™ that is made up of more than 1,500 questionable or harmful chemicals that they never use as ingredients in their products. This includes the over 1,400 chemicals banned or restricted in personal care products by the European Union, plus additional chemicals screened by Beautycounter and found to be of concern.
